Location

Guests love that we are only 300 metres from the centre of town & the footbridge to the 90 mile beach, so all the attractions and features of Lakes Entrance are just a short walk away. Our park is very quiet at night due to being set back from the main highway, and also more protected from the wind than other Parks nearby. Lakes Entrance is only a 4 hour drive from the CBD of Melbourne, and roughly halfway to Merimbula on the NSW Sapphire Coast.

Pet Friendly

Prime has become the best choice for Guests who love their dogs, and want them to share in the holiday fun. We often get asked “Can our pet stay inside with us”? and the answer is “Absolutely, that is what we are all about”.  Prime is the pet-friendliest caravan park in Lakes Entrance.

In fact we do not accept Cabin or Holiday Cottage accommodation reservations unless there is a dog coming along as well.  There are so many options for visitors to stay in Lakes Entrance without a pet, and we know first hand how challenging it is to find decent pet friendly accommodation. Prime offers 2 Holiday Cottages, 2 Cabins & 2 On Site Vans that allow your Pets to be inside with you, just like at home, and do not discriminate by breed, size or time of the year. We love having them visit all year through!

Times are tough, and we understand that everyone deserves value for their dollar. The challenge we have accepted is to provide good old fashioned friendly service, the highest standards of cleanliness, and reasonable pricing in order to build our reputation and fund the improvements that we wish to make for all our Guests to enjoy.

Family Owned & Managed

Prime keeps us busy every day of the year, and if your interests are pets, sports, music, cars, motorbikes or travel, then you will enjoy a yarn with us around the fire pit or in the pool, as we enjoy spending time with our Guests.  Recently we made a business decision to offer a retreat for Adults to bring their dogs along, and escape from any of the distractions or worries from children that most Parks provide.  We are proudly the first holiday destination in Victoria to offer a child free environment for our Guests to spend quality time together with each other and their pooches.

This achievement has also rewarded us with consecutive Traveller’s Choice Awards for the last 7 years and a consistently high rating of 4.5 out of 5 Bubbles.
